We're taking on the Charnwood Forest Challenge to support the Brown Dog charity in raising funds to purchase a stem cell machine for Leicester Royal Infirmary to help people fight Myeloma and Lymphoma.
In 2017 we had our own challenge with cancer.
Through the care and support of the amazing staff at LRI's Oncology and Hope units we got through it. We'd like to say thank you by raising as much as we can to contribute to the £46,000 target.
Brown Dog raises money to purchase vital equipment or infrastructure to improve the detection or treatment of cancer (and improve patient care) to subsequently save or extend life.
Each year they select a project to raise funds for. The end uses of funds can vary, however always have the common theme of improving the lives of men, women or children who have cancer (and their families).
