FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FINANCIAL ADVISER OR INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER - WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
A Financial Adviser may be limited to the advice he can offer a client. An Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) will not be tied to any particular organisation thereby being able to offer you advice and solutions from the whole of the market. At Principle Financial Services we are completely independent with access to products not found on the high street which means our clients can receive the best possible advice for their situation.
HOW DO YOU GET PAID?
We agree a fee with our client before any work is undertaken, for Pensions and Investments this is usually a percentage of the fund being managed.
We only receive commission for arranging Protection/Insurance products and the client will always know how much. Using a broker such as us you will have far more options to choose from in this area.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
The team are available between 9am and 9pm to take your calls. We are happy to meet you at a time and place that is convenient to you, so a chat or a meeting after work is no problem. Just give us a call and we will be happy to arrange an appointment that suits your needs.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HOLD?
As a qualified Will Writer I have worked in Estate Planning for almost 10 years gaining practical experience in this field along with continual development through regular webinars and workshops to keep up to date with the ever changing regulations. I am a member of the LIBF (London Institute of Banking & Finance) with a certificate of Professional Standing. I hold a DipFA (Diploma for Financial Advisers) and also FSRE (Financial Services Regulations & Ethics). I am listed on the FCA register (Financial Conduct Authority)
